360 Degrees Virtual Assistance

Break Away from the 9 to 5 Job Routine

I know most of us you are hard workers but doesn’t the thought of sitting in an office from 9 to 5 for the rest of your life give you that stifled feeling. Now don’t get me wrong. I am not insinuating that you are lazy, but I am sure you don’t want to be confined. We all love our family and want to spend that extra time with them and yet we don’t want to risk going broke or homeless. What if we could let our creativity soar, lead a relaxed life with a financial cushion and spend all the time we want with our family.

Virtual Assistance, FreelanceThe big question is. HOW DO WE GET THIS FREEDOM?

Well there a couple of ways that I know and have heard of. First is to find a company that allows you to telecommute which means that on certain days you can work from home. But well, do companies like these really exist? Yes, they do and Facebook, GE, Apple are some companies with such kind of job opportunities that you might have read about or heard people speaking about. But then it’s not easy to get into these companies.

So what are you left with?

The other choice is freelancing. Well you might have come across horror stories about freelancing, stuff like how you don’t get paid, sky rocketing competition and that it is extremely tough to make a success out of it.

But believe me. If you have the zeal, the expertise and the attitude to always keep your clients happy and treat them well and do everything you can for them work wise to make their business and personal lives easier, you will have clients flocking to you in droves and most of them will be repeat clients.

But besides the zeal and the attitude you require the skills. Choose a niche you are good at, be it graphic design, animation, WordPress website design, content writing or anything else and make these few things the focus of your career. Do whatever you can to become an expert in what interests you.

So once you have the skills, the zeal and the attitude, go all out to get your first client. Initially it will be difficult to get the first client and along the way you might feel like giving it all up. But don’t lose heart and keep going at it with all you can. Get in touch with people who are already successful freelancers and take advice from them. Work under them for a few days as their associates if you really have to. Learn all the intricacies and once you do all that, there is nothing that can stop you from becoming successful.

Once you have the first taste of success, one thing will lead to the other and you will build up a list of clients who will provide you regular work.

But again the big question is how do you get your first client?

The answer is to start off the sites like freelance.com, guru.com and upwork.com.
