International Virtual Assistants Association Rolls Out Commendable Initiatives To Educate Entrepreneurs about Virtual Assistance Industry

Setting up a new business in present day situation is getting all the more difficult. The New America Foundation opines that the year between 1977 and 2010 witnessed a 53% decrease in the number of new business owners and new entrepreneurs. The Marketing Director for International Virtual Assistants Association, Yvonne Weld stated that the percentage is waning because people have started to realize the difficulties that are involved in starting a new business.

In order to start a new business, it requires strong determination and stamina in the beginning. On the road to starting a business, one has to carry out a number of tasks and bear immense responsibilities in the initial stages. Majority of small business entrepreneurs do not possess the required skills to compete effectively with the already established businesses and popular business giants in the market. One can think of starting a successful business only if one has adequate skills and can avail adequate help as and when required.  To make things much easier for new business entrepreneurs, the concept of hiring virtual assistants is becoming increasingly popular. In fact, hiring a virtual assistant is considered highly essential for the businesses today.

A virtual assistant is an independent professional who works from a remote location, generally from their office or home.  Virtual assistants are known for providing administrative, creative and technical services to small as well as large businesses. They provide assistance to several industries as per the requirements. Though the industry of virtual assistants is flourishing significantly, there are still many small scale businesses and new entrepreneurs who are unaware of the benefits of hiring a virtual assistant for their business. Moreover, there are also many entrepreneurs who are aware of virtual assistants but not acquainted with the best way of finding, hiring or working with them. Thus, adequate steps should be taken to educate the entrepreneurs about virtual assistants and the way they function.  

Keeping this factor in mind, International Virtual Assistants Association has initiated an effective step to educate people about virtual assistants. International Virtual Assistants Association has decided to send their representatives to the eWomen Conference to be held in Dallas from August 8 to August 12, 2013.  The 5-day eWomen Conference is one of the most important conferences for entrepreneurs. It would offer an ideal platform to virtual assistants to educate others about the benefits of virtual assistance.  International Virtual Assistants Association had also sent their representatives to the National Speakers Conference that was recently held in Philadelphia.

International Virtual Assistants Association has been taking such initiatives to educate the public in general and the entrepreneurs in particular about the role and responsibilities of a Virtual Assistant.
